Ten consecutive Fridays, 2-hour sessions

The Six Sigma Green Belt Training course consists of approximately 24 online hours and 20 classroom hours of instruction. A Six Sigma Green Belt typically is a process manager/leader who is responsible for supporting a company's Six Sigma initiative by managing Six Sigma projects in his or her part of the business. A Green Belt works closely with a Black Belt to improve work processes.

The class outline includes the following components:

Introduction - Six Sigma Introduction

Define - Project Charter, Pareto Anaylis, SIPOC, Voice of the customer, Process Mapping

Measure - What is Statistics?, Organizing and Presenting Data, Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Dispersion, Descriptive Statistics: Self-Assessment, Calculating Process Based Costs, Validating Measurement System

Analyze - Scatter Diagram, Cause & Effect Diagram, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Intro to Process Capability, Process Capability Assessments

Improve - Maximizing ROI

Control - Sustaining ROI, Types of Control Charts, Extending Project ROI

Cost: $1195 per participant, includes parking.

Learn to implement concepts and techniques to improve profitability, decrease time searching for tools, and take the hassle factor out of your shop environment. With tools discussed in the workshop, the AIM Center has helped a shop bring a job back from Mexico and make money off of it and helped a shop earn bonuses for the first time in years.

Techniques covered include Workplace Organization and Visual Controls (5S), Setup Reduction, Total Productive Maintenance, and Value Stream Mapping.

Cost: $298 per participant. If your company sends more than one participant, the cost is reduced to $250 per participant. Includes continental breakfast and parking.
