"In 1993, members of the manufacturing industry along with the
leadership of Sinclair Community College and University of Dayton
saw a need to elevate the level of support given to the manufacturing
industry. Together, and with the support of the National Science
Foundation, we created the AIM Center. Today, the AIM Center continues to deliver on its promise to educate
and serve the many needs of manufacturers – and contribute to our
legacy of manufacturing excellence." |

"The manufacturing industry is the backbone of the U.S. economy -
and that's why we’re here. We help manufacturers meet the challenges
of a market that is increasingly competitive. And the way we do that is
by working with management to introduce advanced technology, train
workers, streamline processes and implement quality control measures.
Our goals are the same as the manufacturers - to increase the throughput
and profitability of their facilities." |

Manager, Industry Services Group

Mission
To provide manufacturers with the training, resources, and support necessary
to boost productivity - and profitability - in an industry challenged
with increased competition.
